The Project
In the heart of the historic disctrict of the city of Pinhel, near Guarda, in Portugal, a visionary and futuristic project is about to be born. This project not only promises to redefine the urban landscape, but will also play a crucial role in the socio-economic development of the city and surrounding region.
Under the leadership of Hawk Stars NGO - Association for Education, Innovation and Social Development, the initiative called The Global Village aims to create a robust ecosystem of learning, social innovation and human and intellectual development. Hawk Stars, through its altruistic vision, aims to be a leader in promoting multicultural integration and social innovation by embracing fundamental European values such as solidarity, diversity and social inclusion, while promoting talent and the creation of educational projects that are complementary to traditional education.
The initial core of this project is the construction of an International Training Center
Which will add to the ongoing work carried out by Hawk Stars NGO. This center will not only be a physical space, but also a hub of opportunities designed to implement new ideas and community projects. Hawk Stars will act as a partner, but not necessarily as a direct manager of these projects. Collaboration with other non-governmental institutions (NGOs), social solidarity institutions (IPSSs), local, national and international, as well as with public indstitutions foundations and government institutions, will be essential for the success of entrepreneurship. From training rooms designed to train future leaders and welcome refugees, migrants and foreigners, to co-working spaces designed for digital nomads, telecommuters and promising start-ups from different areas. This center aims to be an international hub for training and development, and attracting talent and political leaders from candidate countries and those in the process of joining the European Union. This will accelerate your integration and understanding of the “European Way Of Life” as well as effectively comply with the Copenhagen Criteria. Furthermore, with the creation of the Gaming Hub, or technology room, the Global Village will place Pinhel on the online sports map, serving as a base for the Hawk Stars NGO teams (The Hawkis E-sports Team, scheduled to launch between 2024/2025 ), as well as a high-performance center for other e-sports teams or players. The recording studio will help to discover new local talent, offering a professional platform for them to shine, with the necessary access to recording and career management.
