Num tempo em que o Interior do país se torna cada vez mais envelhecido e o futuro parece ser a um mundo de distância, nasce em Pinhel um projeto transformador: The Global Village – International Training Center (ITC). Mais do que um projeto físico, é uma visão para o desenvolvimento. O Global Village torna-se assim uma resposta concreta e ousada a décadas de desertificação, desemprego jovem e estagnação económica em Pinhel e no Interior de Portugal. Este é um convite à ação coletiva — para transformar fragilidades estruturais em oportunidades. Para provar que é possível criar um ecossistema vibrante, inteligente e inclusivo, onde o impossível são os limites da nossa vontade.

The Beira Interior region is facing the following today:
Inversion of the demographic pyramid
39.4% of the population aged 65 and over
Only 13.8% have higher education.
Youth unemployment at 23.4%
This needs to happen now!
But it also has:

Our Proposal
- Global Village is a multidisciplinary center for training, incubation, and social innovation based in Pinhel.
- It will be a vibrant hub of talent, regeneration, and creativity, which includes:
- Training center with equipped rooms
- Coworking and business incubator
- Social Art Gallery and recording studio
- Gaming Hub and e-Sports Team
- Creative residency
- Digital spaces (e-learning, metaverse, educational AI)
- Impact platform with participatory governance
A growing vision
Short term (until 2026):
- Launch of the Social Gallery
- Initial training for young people
- Securing the first tranche of €100,000 to begin construction.
Medium term (2026-2030)
- Inauguration of the complete center
- Creation of the incubator and social innovation programs.
- Continuing education and international events
Long term (2030+)
- Founding a school with alternative methods.
- Pinhel as a smart city and European center of territorial cohesion.
